You’ll be presented with a Google Search results page listing the results for the keyword/phrase that you entered into the address bar (URL bar/Omnibox).
But……
For the Google Suggest integration to work with Google Chrome you need to ensure that you select/check the “Use a suggestion service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar” option in the “Under the Hood” tab of the Google Chrome Options box. In addition, the functionality will not work when Chrome is used in Incognito mode.
Summary:
Pros: Omnibox may save a click or two directing your browser to the Google Search site.
